Careermakers Recruitment Driving Division are urgently seeking 7.5 tonne driver with fork lift truck qualifications for a client based in Trafford Park. The work is temp to perm and full time Monday to Friday. Full training in the operation of the company will be given. The details of the role are as follows:

• 7.5 tonne driver with drivers CPC and digital tacho card
• Counterbalance FLT certificate
• Pay rate £9.00 per hour Monday to Friday
• Assisting with loading vehicles before making deliveries
• Delivering palletised sheet plastics across the Midlands and North of England

As this is a full time role, the successful driver will learn all aspects of the warehouse operation including product identification. Initially the work will be warehouse based and will involve order picking items for dispatch. The candidate will then accompany a driver out on the road to learn all aspects of the delivery process. This training will last for about four weeks, after which the candidate will be sent out on the road to work on his own route.

The successful candidate will be a team player who is prepared to get stuck into all aspects of the warehouse and distribution operation including order picking when necessary, loading using the FLT and delivering the products. Customer service is a key aspect of the driver role.
