Mental Health Support Workers
Background and Identity Checks
- To ensure the safety and well-being of individuals receiving mental health support, all Mental Health Support Workers must undergo strict background and identity verification checks, including:
- Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check (UK) – To confirm suitability for working with vulnerable individuals and ensure no criminal records that would prohibit employment in the sector.
- Right to Work Verification – Checking passports, visas, or residence permits to confirm legal eligibility to work in the UK.
- Identity Verification – Proof of ID, address verification, and obtaining references from previous employers.
Health and Medical Compliance
- Occupational Health Screening – Ensuring fitness for work and absence of communicable diseases.
