Class 2 driver – Car Rental Company Temporary

There’s no loading/ unloading, no handball as you deliver trucks itself!

Careermakers Recruitment are currently looking for an HGV drivers for our client, who can assist with both the delivery and collection of commercial vehicles

 The role includes:

• Vehicle delivery direct to customer and to another depot
• Collecting vehicles from customer when coming off hire, or from another depot
• Taking a driver to collect a vehicle or picking a driver up who has made a delivery
• Accurate completion of all relevant paperwork
• You will need a PPE – safety boots and high viz
• Work wear – dark cargo type trousers or black jeans, dark polo t-shirt, dark sweatshirt or jumper, coat.

You need to present:

• Valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record with no traffic violations
• Valid CPC and Digi-Tacho cards
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• The knowledge and initiative to solve basic problems and make routine decisions
• This is a client facing position, you need to show good interpersonal skills
• The ability to complete paperwork in an orderly fashion
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
• No more than 6 points on your licence with no major endorsements (DR10, IN10, CU80, TT99, CD10)

About job:

• Work starts between 7 am and 7.30 am
• Work is temporary, ongoing, five days per week, Monday to Friday with overtime available
• Weekly pay up to £500
