Adults Compliances

Care homes must ensure that staff meet strict compliance requirements to maintain the safety and well-being of residents.

These checks typically include:

Background and Identity Checks
  • Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check (UK) – To ensure staff do not have criminal records that would make them unsuitable for care work.
  • Right to Work Verification – Checking passports, visas, or residence permits to confirm legal employment eligibility.
